No. There is no account to create and no internet connection required. The app is fully functional offline by design.

During setup, Private Stash gives you a recovery code, and you can regenerate it at any time in Settings. If you forget your master password, the recovery code lets you get back in. If you lose both, your data cannot be recovered - by anyone, including us. That is a deliberate consequence of the app's security design, so store your recovery code somewhere safe.

Private Stash is fully translated into English, Spanish, French, German, and Portuguese, and supports Android accessibility services such as TalkBack.
